Analysis of tubulointerstitial lesions in 68 lupus nephritis

Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationships between tubulointerstitial lesions(TIL) and clinics and prognosis in lupus nephritis(LN). Methods 68 LN cases were reviewed and 42 cases among them were followed up. Result The incidence of TIL in LN was 75%,and patients with severe TIL had significantly decreased tubular function and higher mean Scr concentration and proteinuria(P001).TIL was closely correlated to glomerular damages(P001).Meanwhile patients with severe TIL had decreased survival and renal survival. ConclusionTIL can affect the clinic and prognosis of LN,and is positively correlated to glomerular lesions.
