Abstract
Objective:To study the relationship between MRI features and patholoical types. Methods:MRI features of 28 cases with meningiomas were compared with their pathological findings.Results:16 cases had their integral capsules. Peritumor edema were found in 24 cases.Dural tailsign were present in 20 cases.20 cases appeared homogeneous enhancement. Psammoma-bodies were found in 20 cases with tumors.4 cases were present vascular washout effect in the tumors. Conclusion:There is no correlative relationship between only one sign of MRI and the pathologic classification. However many MRI signs could be indecated out meningioma of certain pathologic type by a comprehensive consideration.
