Abstract

There was complex historical and cultural background in the emergence and development of christianity,The close cultural relation between Jews and Greeks within Roman Empire became one of the conditions under which Greek philosophy transferred to oriental theology. Along with the coming of spiritous crisis in Roman Empire, Judaism began to transfer to christianity.Although christianity appeared under the background of Greek culture, to a large extent, its formation had close relation with ancient Greek philosophy and finially its position changed from Roman inferior culture to state religion of the Empire.
