Abstract

Simile and metaphor are widely used in English as a kind of rhetorics by authors.The practice of simile and metaphor is extraordinarily splendor and extremely rich. Simile and metaphor differ greatly both in form and translation. The article is to apply the conclusion of contrasting them to the translation. In the article, the author will contrast classical English sentences which are in the use of simile and metaphor.
