Comparison of Female Images in SU Tong and YE Zhao-yan's Novels

Jiangnan moist sentimental geo-cultural atmosphere created young gifted a fantasy of sentimental narrative style.The sad,nostalgic,fine elegant,feminine way made almost all of them become master of its portrayal of women,and women in their novels demonstrating full of charm and each mean side.As a leading figure in Jiangsu writers,SU Tong and YE Zhao-yan are more prominent.However,the academic world classified their creative simply.This paper is trying to analyze female characters from the specific text of them,comparing the similarities and differences between the two writers,and showing the trends in Jiangsu writers and multi-cultural outlook through the same theme reflecting two very different imagination pattern.
