Abstract
According to the actual demand of traffic guiding and traffic monitoring system of urban expressway,a travel time prediction technique based on macroscopic traffic flow model was put forward in this paper.It can be used to predict route travel time between any two locations on urban expressway network both in stable and unstable traffic flow.
