Abstract
Because of the special performance, flexure hinge has been applied widely in the fields of precision machine and micro-nano-technology.For the need of locating exactly and responding quickly of clamping machine in inchworm mechanism, the symmetrical flexure hinge has been designed and listed the course of theory analysis of rotational stiffness and the method of calculations based on theory of mechanics of materials in this article.Depending on theory of mechanics of materials and through analyzing the structure of flexure hinge, the dimension parameter of the flexure hinge can be designed. The thickness of wall is the most important parameter influencing the working performance of the flexure hinge.
