Abstract
Objective To explore the preventive effect of continuous subcutaneous catheter suction drainage technology on fat liquefaction of abdominal incisions in obese patients.Methods300 obese patients undergoing abdominal surgery in our department were selected from June 2004 to August 2009.The patients were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group equally. In the control group, the patients were treated with the traditional incision suture method. In the treatment group,a drainage tube was placed between the anterior rectus sheath and subcutaneous fat,and then continuous suction drainage after abdominal operation was carried out.The incidence of fat liquefaction and wound healing were observed.ResultsThe incidence of incision fat liquefaction in the treatment group was significantly lower, and the class A healing rate of incision was higher than in the control group(both P0.01).ConclusionThe subcutaneous suction drainage technology has a better preventive effect on fat liquefaction of abdominal incisions in obese patients.
