Research of 25% Cabrio EC against Cercospora musae and sigatoka disease of banana

Abstract

Sigatoka disease of banana is the main disease of banana,the disease mainly occurs at 6~11 months in South China.Cabrio 25%EC is a new fungicide which shows specifically high activity against sigatoka disease of banana.During the year of 2002～2004,the result of tests in fields showed that Cabrio 25% EC using 1:1 000 for three times after 20 days gave a control effect of 83.27% against sigatoka disease of banana.These results demonstrated that Cabrio 25% EC had a better control effect against sigatoka disease of banana than 25%Tilt EC(1∶1 500),it has been registered on banana against Sigatoka disease already,and it was worthy to be popularized on the growing practice.
