Study on 20.67% Charisma EC against Cercospora musae and Sigatoka disease of banana

Sigatoka disease of banana is one the main diseases of banana,the disease mainly occurs from summer to autumn in South China,and jeopardizes the leaves of banana hardly.20.67% Charisma EC is a new composite fungicide,which shows specifically high activity against Cercosproa musae and sigatoka disease of banana,and it was safe for banana.During 2002 and 2003,the result of tests in fields showed that 20.67% Charisma EC,gave a control effect of 81.23% and 83.33% against sigatoka disease of banana.These results demonstrated that 20.67% Charisma EC had a better control effect against sigatoka disease of banana than 25%Tilt EC(1∶1500),and it is a high efficiency fungicide with protecting and curing function,and it was worthy to be popularized on the growing practice.
