Outline on Educational Performance Management

Educational performance management,bearing rich research connotation,emerged with the introduction of modern performance management theory into education.It pursues the integration of behavioural performance and result performance in content,the parallel of discrimination and development in function,the diversified and limited interaction in subject and the unification of regulation and improvement in management process.The traditional educational evaluation,however,has many shortages;therefore,it is necessary to make a shift from educational evaluation to educational performance assessment.But educational performance evaluation as a kind of value judgement can not include performance design,performance assessment and performance improvement etc.so it is desirable to transit from educational performance evaluation to educational performance management.
