Abstract
The effects of the temperature, content of maleic anhydride(MAH)and benzoyl peroxide(BPO)on the grafting ratio and melting flow rate of grafting product were studied. The results indicated that the optimum reaction temperature to prepare grafting product with high grafting ratio was 120 ℃;when the contents of initiator and MAH monomer were 5% and 10% respectively, the grafting ratio of polypropylene(PP)grafting product was relatively higher,at the same time, its melting flow rate and grafting efficiency were opportune;the content of dimethylbenzene used for swelling of the solid PP should be properly controlled, but its overdose would lead to some problems, such as operation and grafting ratio;the melting point of grafting products was lower than neat PP,while the addition of MAH was beneficial to crystallization nucleation of grafting products.
