Effect of the Plant Growth Regulator on Seed Germination and Seedling Vigor of Codariocalvx gnans

Abstract

Codariocalvx gnans seeds were treated with the different concentrations of GA3,IAA and NAA to research on the effect of the plant growth regulator on seed germination and seedling vigor of Codariocalvx gnans. The results indicated not only the time of the germination was reduced but also the germination rate,germination vigor were improved in the treatment with 100 mg/L GA3,100 mg/L IAA and 5 mg/L NAA,respectively. The treatment with 5 mg/L NAA can obviously enhance the seed germination rate and seeding growth better.
