Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effect and safety of cefoperazone/sulbactam combined with levofloxacin on healthcare-associated pneumonia(HCAP).Methods Seventy-six patients with HCAP were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group(40 cases) was cured with levofloxacin and cefoperazone/sulbactam,while the control group(36 cases) with cefminox. The therapeutic effect and adverse reactions in both groups were observed and compared 5-10 days later. Results The total efficacy rates and bacterial clearance rates were 85.00% and 63.90% in treatment group,82.6% and 54.5% in control group, respectively. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant. Conclusion The combined therapy of cefoperazone/sulbactam and levofloxacin with a broad-spectrum and better antibacterial action has definite therapeutic effect and safety on health-care-associated pneumonia.
