Abstract
Objective To explore the significance between MMP-9 in oncogenesis, progression and metastasis of pancreatic carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemistry methods(S-P) were applied to detect the differential expression of MMP-9 in Paraffin-embedded tumor specimens of 53 cases pancreatic carcinoma tissue and 10 cases normal pancreatic tissue.clinicop-athologic features were statistically analyzed with SPSS12.0.Results The positive expression of MMP-9 was significantly higher in tissues of pancreatic carcinoma than in normal pancreatic tissues(P 0.05).The expression of MMP-9 was correlation with lymph node metastasis and clinical stages(P 0.05).Conclusions The expression of MMP-9 significantly was correlated with lymph node metastasis and tumor clinical stage, respectively.
