Gene cloning and sequence analysis of chitinase gene in wheat seed

Abstract

Based on chitinase gene-relative TC187877 from http://www.tigr.org,two pairs of primers were designed,and two 1000bp fragments were amplified from seed genomic DNA of Gamenya and Sumai 3 by PCR method.The two amplified fragments belong to Chitinase II because of their CHITINASE-19.1and CHITINASE-19.2 motifs at the amino acid level through sequencing and sequence analysis.The amplified sequences were deposited in GenBank(GenBank accession number AY973229 and AY973230 respectively).
