Relationship between hyperuricemia and coronary artery disease

Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum uric acid and coronary artery disease.Methods 75 cases with coronary heart disease controlled with 80 health people were involved in the present study.Uric acid,creatinine,blood glucose and blood pressure were detected.Results The level of blood uric acid of patients with coronary heart disease was higher than that of control.Conclusion High uric acid is related to coronary heart disease.
