Impact of capacity educational training on improving comprehensive capacity of new nurse practitioners

Objective To analyze the impact of capacity educational training on improving comprehensive capacity of new nurse practitioners. Methods July 2009,new nurse practitioners assigned to the hospital 230 cases,both were given theory and hands-on training based on modular,phased,hierarchical managementtraining mode,after the training,conducted examination and questionnaire survey. Results After training,theoretical knowledge,operating skills and comprehensive ability score of operate were higher than before training,demand degree for training and patient satisfaction of new nurse practitioners were higher than before training,errors incidence rate were lower than before training,the difference was statistically significant (P0.05) . Conclusion Through capacity educational training,the comprehensive capacity of new nurse practitioner has improved,the quality of care has improved,provide a reference for standardized training of new nurse practitioner.
