Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of rats severe acute pancreatitis complicated with intestinal barrier functional disturbance(IBFD).Methods Forty-eight healthy SD rats were randomly divided into two groups: sham operation group(group A,n=24),SAP model group(group B,n=24).The rats in group B with severe acute pancreatitis were induced by retrograde injection of 3% sodium taurocholate into cholangiopancreatic tube. The rats in group A were only flipped the intestinal canal. The rats in group A and B were fed with saline. All rats were sacrificed after SAP had been produced at 6,12 and 24 hour. The blood was drawn from portal vein. The ascites and gastrointestinal tract were observed. The concentrations of serum DAO and D-lactate were measured.Pathologic change of terminal ileum and pancreatic tissues were observed under scanning electron microscope. Results There were not ascites in the group A rats. The ascites in the group B rats were more. The concentrations of serum-DAO and D-lactate in group B were higher than those in group A(P0.01).Group B had serious pathologic damage in both pancreas and terminal ileum compared with group A.Conclusion The rats with SAP complicate with IBFD.
