Abstract
Formalist criticism is a new method of the late 20th century literary criticism which has become popular and has come to exerted great influence in the west. Its characteristic is to focus on the text, analyse its artistic form objectively and scientifically so as to find out the innerlaws of the formation and transformation of all factors. The method can be selectively used as a guide to our practice of literary criticism.$$$$
