The Shift-share Study on the Relationship between Industrial Structure Evolution and Economic Growth in Hebei

Taking China and Beijing as standard areas,the shift-share method is used for analyzing the relationship between the industrial structure evolution and the economic growth,and for studying the industrial structure of the strength and competitiveness in Hebei for the period from 6th five-year plan to 11th five-year plan.Conclusion shows that primary industry in Hebei has some competitive edges,but the Hebei is a big agricultural province instead of a strong agricultural province.The internal structure of second industry exists problems and tertiary industry is small and short of competitiveness.Hence,it is proposed that we should adjust investment structure to optimize industrial structure,which would promote the rapid economic development in Hebei province.
