Abstract
Objective: To explore the infection of mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) in children. Methods: 1 206 throat swab samples of suspected MP infection MP-DNA were detected by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (FQ-PCR). Results: In 1 206 samples of respiratory infection in children, the MP-DNA copies was 435 cases, with a positive rate of 36.0%. Conclusion: FQ-PCR method for MP-DNA quantitative detection is simple, sensitive, and accurate. Knowing the infection of MP in children in vivo, which is contribute to the clinical diagnosis and treatment options of respiratory infection.
