Investigation on management system of urban road traffic accident based on GIS

Abstract

It is an advanced,effective technique measure for urban traffic management and accident analysis in order to establish a traffic accident information system based on geographic information system(GIS) technology.Taking Harbin as a research object,it designs and develops a GIS system to store three year's traffic accident data in digital style,and analyzes these data in terms of their attribute and spatial characteristics.It also takes a research in the content,characteristic and function partition of this system based on GIS,and puts forward the system construction design and implementation methods.
