Abstract

Gas chromatography was used for the separation and determination of beta-cypermethrin and malathion in mixed agent. Dipentyl phthalate was selected as internal standard.Under the selected conditions, the retention times of malathion, internal standard and beta-cypermethrin were 8.273min,9.280min and 12.297min respectively. RSD’s(n=7)for beta-cypermethrin and malathion were found to be 0.99% and 1.23% respectively, and the average recoveries were 100.5% and 100.9% respectively. The linear correlation coefficients were 0.9997 and 0.9987 respectively.
