Abstract
Objective It is to observe the effect and ultrastructure change of JinSanE on hepatic fibrosis rats. Methods Sixty-four Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, JinSanE low and high dose treatment group in which there was sixteen rats. The hepatic fibrosis was induced with CCl 4 subcutaneous injection. Four weed later, the rats in JinSanE treatment group were treated with JinSanE 6 and 12 g/kg per day respectively. At the eighth week, all rats were executed. The liver tissues were detected with electron microscope and dyed with HE and Van Giseon stainings. The hepatic function was detected with routine biochemical method and the hyalauronic acid (HA) was detected with RIA.Results The hepatocyte interstice was narrowed, the collagen fiber was reduced, the endothelial cell fenestra in hepatic sinus was increased, the structure of hepatic lobules was tended to normal and the fiber space was obviously attenuated (P0.01). Compared with model group, the levels of serum ALT, AST and HA were markedly debased after the rats were treated with JinSanE (P0.05).Conclusion JinSanE can effectively lighten liver cell injury and the fibrosis degree in hepatic fibrosis rats.
