Abstract
This is an interview with Professor Huang Guowen of Sun Yat-sen University,who is the Chair of the Executive Committee of the International Systemic Functional Linguistics Association and Chair of China Association of Functional Linguistics.The topics being discussed include the applicability of Functional Linguistics to the study of translated works of Chinese classic texts and the relationship between Functional Linguistics and language teaching.
