Evaluation of Traffic Safety at Intersections Based on Traffic Conflict Technique

Intersection as an important part of urban roads.In the spread of the urban road network,It plays a vital role to organize the traffic in urban transport.Traffic conflict technique is a evaluation method of no-accident statistic.It is a statistical method which is developed by the international of the emerging field of traffic safety,and with characteristics of rapid and quantitative evaluation of traffic safety situation and improvement effects,different from the traditional accident statistical evaluation.This paper tries to applied the traffic conflict technique and gray theory as assessment index,and introduces original waste in time and energy as a measure.By comparing the ratio of the size of the index,do the evaluation on the traffic safety of intersection.
