Abstract
On the basis of the introduction and analysis of the traffic conflict technique,the traffic safety evaluation model based on traffic conflict ratio is introduced,and then practically applied in the safety evaluation of the intersection,which helps to bring forward some effective countermeasures for improving the traffic conflict conditions.Practice has proved that it is a more effective and applicable method for evaluating the safety of intersections.
