The investigation on the reference ranges of multiple indices with UF-50 urine sediment analyzer in Tianjin Region

Abstract

Objective To investigate the reference ranges of multiple indices with UF-50 urine sediment analyzer in Tianjin Region.Methods Urinary routine analyzer assay and urinary sediment microscopic analysis were performed to screen 704 normal urine samples.UF-50 urinary sediment analyzer was adopted to determine reference ranges of multiple indices 〔red blood cells(RBC),white blood cells(WBC),epithelial cells(EC),casts and bacteria〕 with percentile method.Results The multiple indices reference ranges of 95% confidence interval with UF-50 urine sediment analyzer were as follows:RBC 0-14.8,WBC 0-17.3,EC 0-14.7,casts 0-0.44,and bacteria 0-2 642.3.Conclusion The established reference ranges are credible.UF-50 urine sediment analyzer can acquire experimental results reasonable,and can be widely used in the clinical diagnosis of disorders of urinary system.
