Abstract
After the 1998 Asian Financial Crisis and 2008 Global Financial Crisis,the relationship of textile and apparel industry between China and Japan is more closely related and the competition becomes more evident.This paper evaluates the comparative advantage and trade complementarities of textile and apparel industry between China and Japan based on the trade data of import and export.The results show that: China and Japan are both important import and export markets of textile and apparel industry for each other.They have different comparative advantages and strong trade complementarities.And the Sino-Japanese textile and apparel industry cooperation will produce a win-win situation.
