Abstract

Objective:To explore distribution regularity and characteristic of TCM syndromes for chronic pulmonary heart disease(CPHD).Methods:The clinical questionnaire was designed combined with previous literature research.The CPHD subjects were recruited from four TCM hospitals respirations department.The research data were analysis with Logosit regression ways adopted the SPSS for windows ver.13.0 software.Results:The TCM basic syndrome for CPHD included phlegm-heat syndrome,phlegm-dampness syndrome,cold-fluid retention(water)syndrome,qi deficiency of kidney syndrome,qi deficiency of lung syndrome,yin deficiency of kidney syndrome,yin deficiency of lung syndrome and qi deficiency of spleen syndrome.The dyspnea with rapid and short breath,cough,dyspnea exacerbated while activing,chest distress,sticky sputum,white phlegm,poor appetite and limbs edema were the common symptoms.Conclusion:The phlegm,stasis and deficiency were the pathologic foundation for CPHD.Toot deficiency and branch excess was the key pathologic change for CPHD.
