Abstract
By using sodium hydrogen sulfate as catalyst,acetatic acid and benzyl alcohol reacted to form benzyl acetate,the optimized condition using 0.1mol of acetic acid were as following:molar ratio of benzyl alcohol to acetic acid was 1.9,mass of catalyst was 0.05g,temperature was 95~120℃ and reaction time was 45 min,the esterifiaction yield for acetic acid was about 97.3%.
