On Moral Education and its Mechanism in China

In view of some serious defects in moral education of present China, such as amalgamation of moral education and virtue cultivation, excessive emphasis on its theoretical knowledge but lack of practice. This paper, closely integrated with schools and social practice, proposes some principles including optimization of moral education environment, construction of moral regulation mechanism, reform of methods of moral education, and formation of moral life-centered model of moral education. This paper is of great instructive significance to reasonable moral education in the present stage of China.
