Abstract

The information about the cellulose oxidized by periodate is reviewed,mainly including the mechanism of oxidation,the characteristics of oxidation,the properties of DAC.Also the application progress,its application in the pulp and paper industry,the materials of biology and medicine and other areas,finally the expectation of the application were recounted.
