Abstract

[Objective] To analyze the clinical characteristic of 55 cases of type 2 diabetes patients with hyperuricemia and investigate the relation of type 2 diabetes and hyperuricemia. [Methods] Some biochemical indicators were determined in 55 cases of type 2 diabetes patients with hyperuricemia and compared with 30 cases of single type 2 diabetes patients and 30 healthy controls. [Results] The serum levels of GLU,TG,LDL,UA and BMI of type 2 diabetes patients with hyperuricemia were significantly higher than those of single type 2 diabetes patients and healthy controls. And the serum levels of HDL of this group were lower than the other two groups(P﹤0.05) . The incidence rates of another diseases such an hyperlipemia and high blood pressure of this type patients was higher than the single type 2 diabetes patients(P﹤0.01) . [Conclusion] Both of type 2 diabetes and hyperuricemia are metabolic diseases. The two diseases coexist and influence each other. We should not emphasize the substantive risk factor for single disease but attach importance of integrated clinical treatment.
