Abstract

e You 27 is a new e-hybrid rice combination derived from Fu eA7,a new CMS line with eui genes,and a strong restorer line Shuhui 527.It is characteristic of high and stable yield,medium blast resistance,wide adaptability and suitable maturity.e You A7 has a slight panicle enclosure and is sensitive to GA3,so the dosage of GA3 needed in hybrid seed production is low.It was registered by Fujian Crop Variety Approval Committee in March,2005.The breeding procedure,major characteristics,and technical points in the multiplication,hybrid seed production and cultivation of e You 27 were introduced in this paper.
