Comparison of four p540s Immunohistochemical Staining Retrieval Methods

Abstract
To determine the most appropriate retrieval method of p504s immunohistochemical staining for achieving the optimal staining effect,60 prostate cancer biopsies were collected.Each biopsy was cut into 4 samples and performed EDTA retrieval,high-pressure retrieval,microwave retrieval and pepsin retrieval respectively before immunohistochemical staining.The retrieval effects were compared to determine the optimal retrieval method.The results showed that 80% microwave retrieval samples were positive intensity(+++) while 95% samples were background(-).The combined effect was significantly better than all the other three methods.The optimal effect of p504s immunohistochemical staining can be achieved with microwave retrieval method.
