Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of result of immunohistochemical staining by using different antigen retrieval methods. Methods: 16 antibodies were choosen. The antigens were repaired by high pressure cooking, trypsin or pepsin digestin and microwave. The repairing effects were compared. Results: The positive effects were observed in every antigen retrieval method. But the backgrounds of stained sections by using high pressure cooking were more distinct and the positive signals were brighter than those by other antigen retrieval methods. Conclusions: It was suggested that the high pressure cooking antigen retrieval was the best.
