Abstract
Flag leaf photosynthetic characteristics and water use were investigated in different light intensity in two spike-type wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)varieties,Lankaoaizao 8 and Yumai 49.The results showed that,at anthesis, with increasing light intensity, there were increases in photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, transpiration rate and water use efficiency. They would decrease if light intensity was increased to a limited light intensity. But intercellular CO2 concentration decreased with increasing light intensity.Compared with Yumai 49,flag leaf of Lankaoaizao 8 had higher photosynthetic characteristics and water use in higher light intensity.
