Investigation of the Wild Ornamental Groundcover Plants in Yuxi and Its Application in Gardens

Abstract

A field investigation was carried out from March 2009 to September 2011 on the groundcover plant resources in the eight counties and one district of Yuxi.According to the groundcover plants selection criteria,the actual situation of field investigation and other relevant literatures,a total of 379 species 236 genus 82 families of groundcover plants were found out,and some suggestions were proposed on the application of wild groundcover plants in the construction of ecological gardens.
