Abstract

The economic effect of FDI has been a hot topic in academic circle.Particularly the contribution of FDI on China technology progress has been disputed widely among scholars in recent years.Based on Solo Model,his paper analyzes the effect of FDI on China technology progress with the sample data through 1985-2004 from macro perspective.We conclude that the contribution of FDI on China technology progress is inconsiderable.The causes and policy countermeasures for it deserve further studies.
