The analysis of the technical progress effect of FDI in China

Abstract

Foreign direct investment as one of the major features of globalization is receiving more and more attentions. Therefore, it's important to analyze whether FDI promotes the technical progress of China. This paper analyzes the relation between FDI and the Chinese technical progress and then through analyzing the data of GDP and FDI from 1984 to 2011, this paper will conclude the results and give some reasons and some policy suggestions.
