Analyzing Qian Zhongshu's Comments on Wang Chuanshan's Poetic Theory

Abstract
Qian Zhongshu's affirmation of Wang Chuanshan's insight and taste in poetry shows that Qian pursues, equally as Wang, the beautiful and natural language of poetry. However, his satire of Wang's opinions on many issues, such as the comment of Tao Yuanming's poems and the essence of interpreting poems, manifests his misconception and incomplete perception of Wang's essence of poetic theory.
