Thoughts on the study on QIAN Zhongshu

This article focuses on the following: it points out some suggestions about the study on QIAN Zhongshu; the study on QIAN’s poems and his viewpoints on poems should involve researchers’ previous experiences in composing old-style poems; the purpose of Qian’s composing works and poems of old-style in classical Chinese is to maintain our traditional culture; we should look through more Chinese and foreign original works; we should develop practical and realistic attitude towards the study on QIAN Zhongshu; we should base our study on the comparison between QIAN Zhongshu’s works and his contemporary works.
