On training college students' innovative ability

The arduous work to train college students' innovative ability is analyzed in th ree aspects(students, educators and government behavior). Based on the essence o f education, it is proposed that to train college students' innovative ability c an be combined with the whole course of teaching, including taking knowledge as carrier an d teaching as means, and it has been tried and is reviewed in the light of pract ical experience. Meanwhile, environment construction, opportunity and space, and links in teaching are regarded as three essential factors to train college stud ents' innovative ability, which is systematically dealt with.
