Lessons from International Comparative Study of Vocational Education on Higher Vocational College in China

Abstract

Vocational and technical education is an important part of modern education. It is an important pillar of industrialization,socialization and modernization. Development of vocational education is not only the need of economic and social development,but also the product of the universal education development to a certain historical stage. Vocational education as a type of education shows different characteristics of the development in different countries. Based on the advanced concepts and practices of vocational education in different countries,this thesis hopes to find some useful experience to promote the development of higher vocational education in China.
