Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate the level of quality of life in hospitalized patients with coronary heart disease,in order to gain the reference value for developing rehabilitation measures.METHODS A total of 119 patients who were diagnosed with coronary heart disease were investigated with The Medical Outcomes Study 36 item Short Form Health Survey(MOS SF-36v2)and a self-designed questionnaire on general information.RESULTS The quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease was significantly lower in all the eight dimensions of SF-36 compared with that population norms in Sichuan Province;according to region, gender, age stratification, the scores were significantly lower in all the eight dimensions of SF-36 compared with the corresponding population norms in Sichuan Province.CONCLUSION Risk factors of coronary heart disease must be highly identified, prevented and intervened, and we must carry out scientific rehabilitation training to help the patients with coronary heart disease to improve the quality of life.
