Early Protection Effect of Rhubarb Combined with Bifid Tripleviable on Rats with Severe Acute Pancreatitis

Objective:To discuss the effect of the rhubarb combined with bifid tripleviable on the TNF-α,the IL-10 and the pancreatic histopathological changes in rats with severe acute pancreatitis.Methods:64 SD rats were divided randomly into the normal control group,the model group,the rhubarb group and the combination group.Rats models were established by the abdominal injection with 10% sinistral arginine solution.Concentrations including the TNF-α and the IL-10 were detected by the radioimmunoassay method.The ratio of wet and dry weight and the pancreatitis pathology integration were evaluation.Results:The TNF-α and the IL-10 of the model group were higher obviously than those of the normal control group.In the rhubarb group and the combination group,these indices were lower than those in the model group.Meanwhile,the ration of wet and dry weight and the pathology integration were also lower than those in the model group.The IL-10 in serum of the combination group was higher than it in the rhubarb group significantly.Conclusion:The balance of the pro-inflammatory cytokinces and the intestinal function can be improved by the rhubarb combined with the bifid tripleviable.Moreover,this combination can relieve the inflammatory reaction of the SAP and early protection of it.
