Abstract

Objective To evaluate therapeutic effects of radiofrequency endovenous obliteration for treatment of varicose vein of lower limbs. Methods The therapeutic effects of 96 cases(115 limbs) of primary greater saphenous vein tributary varicose veins treated during recent 3 years were retrospectively analyzed. Results All these 96 cases(115 limbs) achieved good effect after treatment. All of them were followed up for 1~12 months.Among them, leg pain and numbness occurred in 3 cases. There was no formation of deep venous thrombosis and subcutaneous hematoma in these patients after treatment. Conclusion The effectiveness of radiofrequency endovenous obliteration for treatment of varicose vein of lower limbs is good and satisfactory with less trauma, faster recovery and less scars, and it is worthy to be recommended.
