Abstract

The low liquid steel head tundish change over for ASP caster has been successfully practised at No.3 Steelmaking Plant of Jingang Steel.By selecting the mode of tundish change over,optimizing the temperature of liquid steel,improving heating of both tundish and submerged nozzole,the availability of the caster was improved remarkably.
